"Green Label" The Professional Audio Grade USB & SATA Cables

A recording engineer by profession, 
I specialize in live concert recordings. 
I found most commercial USB and SATA cables that I use for my digital recording system to be lacking. 
Hence started my journey to build cables that would meet up to my stringent requirements for sound quality with neutrality and balance figuring very highly and using live concert sound as the benchmark.

For professional audio
All equipments must have highly quility in sound performance
Neutral and balanced are basicly requirements
And very clear sound's shape & contour 
The most important thing is those equipments must provide natural living and smooth sense as live concert
So I have developed Green Label USB & SATA for professional audio
In addition to my own use
Green Label USB and SATA is created with the above qualities in mind and is now widely used by other recording engineers here in Taiwan
As analog cables run low frequency signals and digital cables run higher frequency data and clock signals, 
analog tuning techniques such as gas fill in, oil fill in, cable ring and SATT cannot be accurately implemented to digital.

The solution to overcome this problem is to treat digital cable as a hardware of CAT.

SATA cables tend to be more difficult to develop as they require a much wider bandwidth.
 To achieve this the application of SATA Generator, SATA Analyzer and professional AP is utilized.
 SATA performance also requires the measurement of clock jitter as well as the transmitted and received signals.



All my cables have been designed with one goal in mind, 
and that is to achieve as close as possible transmission of signals in very high end and much more expensive cables that are currently being used in professional PC based audio equipment eg hard disk recorder, a/v workstation, PC recording interface etc… but at a more affordable and realistic price.

Green label has discontinued.
TZ YUN III is Green label upgrade version and in the same price.
It is more fuller & smoth than Green Label.

BEST SATA CABLE FOR AUDIO IN THE WORLD

In my research,
Sata cable became the weakness point to the modern pc base music source
It is because that has no audio grade sata cable in the market
All sata cable you have seen were costdown products
So I evolved sata cable for my music server half year ago
And that sata cable has great improvement of the sound

Dear Mr. Pang,
The cables arrived and I installed them on my PC.

I had in general 4 SATA cables (SSC, 2HDD, CD Drive) and removed all and installed yours on the SSC (with Win 7 OS on it) and the other on the one HDD with music.
I let my SATA filters from SotM in place for the first testing.

What to say? I was a huge improvement on the sound.
Much more naturallness in the tone colours and harmonics much more resultion and staging. Incredible.
The only drawback was that I first had the impression of less punch in the bass.
Today I listened again and the bass was o.k.;
may contact settlement or burn in of silver cables.

Overall the improvement is huge.

I received the silver sata cables a few days ago and have allowed for some burn in time in the system.

What can I say, the improvement in SQ is definite!
I get lower a noise floor giving better definition to low level details.
This is like doing a power supply upgrade and more.
Do you understand why this is the case?
Perhaps the all important mobo chipset sees a superior ground connection?

Linear PSU / State of the Art

現今電腦訊源的應用範圍越來越廣泛 
為了能讓電腦訊源的聲音表現能夠與類比器材具有相同的音樂性
一臺設計良好的線性電源就成為了電腦訊源不可或缺的硬體器材 

這台線性電源的機箱外部尺寸為(含面板,腳墊,不含開關) 
310mm長x120mm寬x130mm高,淨重近8公斤

全機使用8mm-10mm厚的鋁合金來達成良好的電磁屏蔽及諧振控制
不使用風扇散熱,機器也沒有震動
同時由於機箱的結構相當堅固

大容量的電容能夠延長電容的壽命
也就是能讓這個線性電源能在長時間的使用下
不至於讓音質劣化
基本上大容量的電容不會讓聲音速度變慢
不正確的電路設計才是造成速度變慢的主因

A well-regulated power supply must be in large, small current output keep stable
To make the power supply in the high-current output is still able to work in very stable conditions
We need large output capacitor and the decoupling capacitors
Large-capacity capacitor could extend the life of the capacitor
That is, let the linear power under a long period of use
Will not let the sound quality deterioration
Basically large-capacity capacitor will not slow down the speed of sound
Incorrect circuit design is the main cause to slowdowns



使用大容量的電容而會有聲音速度變慢的情形的話
往往是送電迴路與供電迴路的問題所導致
這也是我的線性電源必須使用搭棚的原因
自行搭棚可以設定最佳的迴路狀態
因而在負載端大電流的狀下
仍能維持回授網路保持很低的相移
這樣就會有很低的失真

Wrong transmission circuit and power supply circuit

This is why I  used scaffolding
Self-scaffolding can set the best state of the circuit
Will able to maintain the feedback network stay in low phase shift
Even large current thus the load end 
This will let PSU keep very low distortion




十幾年前我就開始用無熔絲開關來取代保險絲
用無熔絲開關的優點很多
最近連作蚊量級管機的也開始拾人牙慧
開始用無熔絲開關來取代保險絲

雖然我已經用了銀錫
但為了保持良好的接觸來杜絕焊錫的不良影響
所以我焊接大面積的接點時
除了用恆溫烙鐵還要用尖嘴鉗將焊點及線材夾緊
這樣會在製作時會多花好幾倍的時間
這也是我的機器都必須裝很久的原因

使用XLR作為直流輸出
所以只要搭配不同的直流接頭
就可讓所有的週邊使用

有了好的電源迴路後
電源使用好的線材就變的重要了
因為雖然是號稱"電流"
但實際上能量在導體內是不流動的
而是經由電子與電洞的交換位置來達成能量的傳遞
好的線材有很低的電子干涉與繞射的現象
這樣才能有很好的音質
這台線性電源內部全部使用我自行開發的鐵氟龍鍍銀線材
這些自行開發的線材能讓在這台線性電源大電流輸出時
仍能保持穩壓電源保持中性均衡的聲音表現

同時為了確保這台線性電源的輸出性能
電源變壓器不再從市場購買
而是採用我自行繞製的變壓器

Have a good power supply circuit then you need good cord to maxium performance
Good wire will lower electronic interference and diffraction phenomena
So as to have good sound quality
This PSU used my self-developed Teflon silver plated wire for top sound quility
Meanwhile, in order to ensure that the output performance of the linear power
Power transformers are no longer buy from the market
Instead of using my self-winding transformer to control quility





經由實測可以證實
機械震動會放大電子零件的電氣諧震
進而造成聲音的劣化
因而好的電源也還需要一個穩固的機殼 

一台好的機器其實就是一連好的細節處理
有了好的平台
零件與電路對聲音的影響性就會降低
現在的HighEnd廠靠的就是如何優化的know how
沒有靠零件或電路就可揚名立萬的品牌

It has been confirmed through the measured
Mechanical vibration will gain electronic components's electrical harmonic shock
Thus resulting in the deterioration of the sound
Good power also need a solid chassis


One great PSU is actually a series of good details of the deal
With a good platform will reduce parts and circuit effect to the sound
The HighEnd audio depends on the know how in optimize to hardware & software
Not rely on parts or circuit
