現今電腦訊源的應用範圍越來越廣泛
為了能讓電腦訊源的聲音表現能夠與類比器材具有相同的音樂性
一臺設計良好的線性電源就成為了電腦訊源不可或缺的硬體器材
這台線性電源的機箱外部尺寸為(含面板,腳墊,不含開關)
310mm長x120mm寬x130mm高,淨重近8公斤
全機使用8mm-10mm厚的鋁合金來達成良好的電磁屏蔽及諧振控制
不使用風扇散熱,機器也沒有震動
同時由於機箱的結構相當堅固
所以數台的線性電源可以相互堆疊使用而不會減損音質的表現
這台線性電源使用150VA(150W)的電源變壓器
最大可提供120W或10A的直流輸出
例如+12V/10A,+19V/6A,+5V/10A單組直流電源輸出
或是+12V/5A plus +5V/5A合計10A的雙組直流電源輸出

為了讓穩壓電源在大電流輸出時仍能夠工作在很穩定的狀況下
所以必須要使用大容量的穩壓ic的輸出電容與負載端的退耦電容
大容量的電容能夠延長電容的壽命
也就是能讓這個線性電源能在長時間的使用下
不至於讓音質劣化
基本上大容量的電容不會讓聲音速度變慢
不正確的電路設計才是造成速度變慢的主因

使用大容量的電容而會有聲音速度變慢的情形的話
往往是送電迴路與供電迴路的問題所導致
這也是我的線性電源必須使用搭棚的原因
自行搭棚可以設定最佳的迴路狀態
因而在負載端大電流的狀下
仍能維持回授網路保持很低的相移
這樣就會有很低的失真

但為了保持良好的接觸來杜絕焊錫的不良影響
所以我焊接大面積的接點時
除了用恆溫烙鐵還要用尖嘴鉗將焊點及線材夾緊
這樣會在製作時會多花好幾倍的時間
這也是我的機器都必須裝很久的原因
使用XLR作為直流輸出
所以只要搭配不同的直流接頭
就可讓所有的週邊使用

有了好的電源迴路後
電源使用好的線材就變的重要了
因為雖然是號稱"電流"
但實際上能量在導體內是不流動的
而是經由電子與電洞的交換位置來達成能量的傳遞
好的線材有很低的電子干涉與繞射的現象
這樣才能有很好的音質
這台線性電源內部全部使用我自行開發的鐵氟龍鍍銀線材
這些自行開發的線材能讓在這台線性電源大電流輸出時
仍能保持穩壓電源保持中性均衡的聲音表現
同時為了確保這台線性電源的輸出性能
電源變壓器不再從市場購買
而是採用我自行繞製的變壓器
